Dorothy Petrie Townshend was born on 8 May 1895.1 She was the daughter of Colonel George Robert Townshend and Petrie Wisdom.2 She married MajorRobert John Henry Carew, son of Lt.-Col. Robert Thomas Carew and Constance Charlotte Mary Creagh, on 25 July 1936.1 She died on 3 February 1968 at age 72.1
